Operation: How do you replace the rear shock absorber of the Volvo S40?

In order to replace the rear shock absorber of the Volvo S40, you need to lift the car so that the corresponding wheel is not in contact with the ground. Once lifted, you will need to unscrew the bolts that secure that wheel and remove it completely, in order to gain access to the components in its rear part. At this point, you will need to loosen the screws that secure the shock absorber at the top and bottom, at the level of the half shaft. After the screws have been loosened, it will be possible to remove the shock absorber and replace it with a new one.
