Installing a Tow Bar

Model: Volvo Xc70 MK 2 - Years 2000-2007

To install the tow bar, unscrew the brackets to which the exhaust supports are connected. If possible, support the bar on two axle stands at the mounting position. The bar should then be inserted between the underside of the car and the exhaust support brackets: to facilitate mounting, once positioned, it is advisable to raise the axle stands to keep it steady during fastening. The screws that secure the bar must be fitted with anti-loosening washers. The hook is then inserted into the guide on the bar: both have holes where a pin is inserted to prevent longitudinal movement of the hook. The extraction of the pin is then prevented by a split pin.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after. This way, you can check that the oil mark is between the minimum and maximum levels; finally, you can place the dipstick back in its tube.
