Installing a Tow Bar

To install the tow bar, unscrew the brackets to which the exhaust supports are connected. If possible, support the bar on two axle stands at the mounting position.

The bar should then be inserted between the underside of the car and the exhaust support brackets: to facilitate mounting, once positioned, it is advisable to raise the axle stands to keep it steady during fastening. The screws that secure the bar must be fitted with anti-loosening washers.

The hook is then inserted into the guide on the bar: both have holes where a pin is inserted to prevent longitudinal movement of the hook. The extraction of the pin is then prevented by a split pin.
