Installation of the Silicone Intake Duct

Model: Volvo Xc70 MK 2 - Years 2000-2007

Installing the silicone intake duct prevents pressure loss caused by the expansion of the original hoses. Open the front bonnet and ensure it is securely supported. Remove the fixing pins of the anti-roll bar at the shock absorber mounts and the support near the brake fluid reservoir to remove the bar itself. Next, remove the clips securing the hose connecting the intake to the turbo and take out the corresponding duct. Fit the modified hose at the turbo and secure it with the respective clip. Then attach the support of the new intake duct to the engine block to avoid contact with the underlying hose. Finally, insert the new intake duct and reassemble everything that was previously removed.
