The reason why the clutch pedal stays down.

In this video we can see the reason why the clutch pedal stays down and the clutch disengages too early; most likely there is a leak at the hydraulic bearing level, and it may not be visible from underneath: it could be a problem that is visible from inside the car. If we look near the clutch pedal, we find oil seepage from the pump on the mat, which also damages the clutch. It's a problem because there is a lot to disassemble, but in the meantime we see that the brake fluid reservoir is at a minimum. We remove the battery and see that the tubing that carries the fluid to the pump has an electrical sensor, and the whole group needs to be replaced; it's not an easy task because we will also have to disassemble part of the internal dashboard and then bleed the brake fluid system before putting new fluid inside the entire circuit, being careful not to form air bubbles. Once everything is back in place, we can reassemble the battery and the job is done. The youtuber then reminds us of the benefits of periodically replacing brake fluid.
