Check the oil level on a Volvo V40 vehicle to know the amount of oil in the reservoir. This operation can be performed independently in a few simple steps.

Turn on the instrument cluster and then press the OK button located on the left lever of the steering wheel. Press the button until the oil warning light symbol and the text "Oil Level" appear on the instrument cluster.

Press the OK button 10 times, start the car but only press the clutch pedal. After about 5 seconds, the oil level will appear on the screen.
