Replacement of Front Wheel Bearing

Model: Volvo V70 MK 2 - Years 2000-2007

Lift the vehicle and remove the wheel corresponding to the repair area, then the brake caliper, the disc, and the central nut securing the driveshaft. Next, unscrew the hub fixing bolts located at the rear and extract it from its seat. Remove the old oil seal from the driveshaft and apply the new one. At this point, insert the new hub fixing bolts, clean the hub seat, grease the splines, and fit the new hub complete with bearing onto the driveshaft splines, aligning the flange holes with the fixing bolts; then tighten the hub fixing bolts and the central nut of the driveshaft. Finally, reassemble the brake disc, caliper, and then the wheel.
