How to Remove the Seat Cover on a Volvo V70

Need to remove the seat from a Volvo V70? This operation is straightforward if done methodically. Move the seat back (using the electric buttons if available) and raise the seat base, then unscrew the securing bolts on the front rail with a socket spanner. Move the seat forward using the adjustment buttons and remove the securing pins from the rear of the rail. Disconnect the power connectors for the front seat (seat adjustment and airbags). Remove the seat cover or take it to a specialised centre. Refit the seat inside the cabin and screw in the securing bolts.
