How to remove the airbag on a Volvo V70? This video shows how to proceed: before removing the steering wheel airbag, disconnect the battery terminals. Insert a medium-length screwdriver into the slots at the back of the steering wheel and rotate (the hooks present in the steering wheel) until the clips that hold the airbag are released. Once the airbag is detached: disconnect the power terminals of the airbag and remove it from the steering wheel. For reassembly of the airbag: connect the power terminal, then press the airbag onto the steering wheel until the clips snap into place.
