You can disable the passenger airbag in the Volvo V90 by opening the front passenger door to access the side of the dashboard: in this area, you will find a knob that allows you to activate or deactivate the airbag. This knob should be turned to "OFF" to disable the airbag, as indicated by the warning light that will appear on the instrument panel; you can reactivate it by simply turning the knob back to "ON" and then closing the door.
