To reset the service light on a Volvo V70, insert the remote into the ignition switch hole without pressing any pedals. Press the start/stop button once to turn the ignition switch to position 1. Hold down the button at the bottom right of the rev counter for about 10 seconds, while simultaneously holding the start/stop button for about 2 seconds to turn on the ignition. Finally, release the button at the bottom right of the rev counter when the warning light on the dashboard starts to flash, and the operation is complete.
