Replacing Cabin Air Filter

Model: Volvo V40 MK 2 - Years 2012-2019

The cabin air filter is located on the passenger side, beneath the glove compartment. To access the filter housing, remove the covering directly under the glove compartment by unscrewing the two securing screws. Once this panel is removed, you can access the air duct and remove the cap from the filter housing by disengaging the securing tab. Extract the old filter and insert the new one (it is recommended to choose an activated carbon filter) ensuring the airflow direction is respected. Then, reposition the cap and the covering panel.
