How to Reset the Service Light on a Volvo V50?

Model: Volvo V50 MK 1 - Years 2004-2012

On the Volvo V50, the procedure to reset the Service light involves pressing and holding the button located on the right side of the instrument cluster: the button must be held down while the ignition is off. Next, insert the ignition key and turn it to switch on the instrument cluster, continuing to hold the corresponding button: a flashing "i" will appear in the centre of the display. After the icon has flashed three times, release the button and turn off the instrument cluster; when it is turned back on, you can check that the Service light has been reset.
