Operation: How to remove the manual gear knob of the Volvo XC70 Mk3.

The guide shows how to replace the knob of the manual gear lever of the Volvo XC70. From the bottom of the central console, remove the pen holder panel using a plastic lever. Next, act on the two plastic clips on the base of the gear panel and lift the leather cone finish to expose the knob locking ring. Using pliers, unscrew the knob block and remove only the lever terminal. Install the new element and lock it in place. Reassemble the gear cone retaining panel and pen holder panel. Check that the lever is functioning correctly.
