Replacing the Gear Knob on Volvo XC 70

Is the gear knob on your Volvo XC 70 broken? Want to replace it? Here’s how. Use a plastic lever to detach the leather gaiter frame, then unclip the circular plastic that connects the gaiter to the knob. Hold the knob and rotate it left and right until you can remove it from the gear stick (cut the plastic tie). Take the new knob and slide it onto the stick in the centre console, securing it onto the stick; fit the new leather gaiter with the plastic washer. Secure the gaiter plastic over the plastics of the centre console.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?
