How to Reset the Service Light on a Volvo XC40?

Model: Volvo Xc40 MK 1 - Years 2017-2026
Part: Service warning light

To reset the Service light on a Volvo XC40, press and hold the button located on the left side of the steering wheel while the instrument cluster is off. Continue holding the button and turn on the instrument cluster, waiting a few seconds for a message indicating that the reset is in progress to appear. When the message shows that the maintenance interval has been reset, you can release the button on the steering wheel. By turning the instrument cluster off and then back on, you can verify that the reset was successful.
