How to Reset the Maintenance Interval Indicator on the Volvo XC40

Model: Volvo Xc40 MK 1 - Years 2017-2026

This brief guide explains the steps to reset the maintenance interval indicator for the Volvo XC40. The following procedure is also valid for the models: XC60, XC90, S90, S60. Follow these steps in order: 1. Turn on the ignition 2. Immediately press and hold the - button of the cruise control located on the left side of the steering wheel 3. After a few seconds, press and hold the brake pedal 4. After a few more seconds, start the engine 5. Once the engine is running, release the brake pedal and continue to hold the - button of the cruise control for about 10 seconds 6. At this point, a yellow warning light will start flashing on the instrument panel 7. When this light has flashed at least 3 times, release the - button of the cruise control. If you followed the previous steps, you have successfully reset the maintenance indicator for your Volvo XC40! This guide is also valid for the following Volvo models: XC60, XC90, S90, S60.
