This brief guide explains the steps to reset the maintenance interval indicator for the Volvo XC40. The following procedure is also valid for the models: XC60, XC90, S90, S60. Follow these steps in order: 1. Turn on the ignition 2. Immediately press and hold the - button of the cruise control located on the left side of the steering wheel 3. After a few seconds, press and hold the brake pedal 4. After a few more seconds, start the engine 5. Once the engine is running, release the brake pedal and continue to hold the - button of the cruise control for about 10 seconds 6. At this point, a yellow warning light will start flashing on the instrument panel 7. When this light has flashed at least 3 times, release the - button of the cruise control.
