- Years 2017-2024 In this short guide we will briefly explain the steps to take to reset the service interval indicator for the Volvo XC40. The following procedure is also valid for the models: XC60, XC90, S90, S60. In order, proceed as follows: 1. Switch on the instrument panel 2. Immediately afterwards, hold down the cruise control button - located on the left side of the steering wheel 3. A few seconds later, keep the brake pedal pressed 4. Further seconds later, start the engine 5. Once the engine has started, release the brake pedal and hold down the cruise control button - for about 10 seconds 6. At this point, a yellow warning light will start flashing on the instrument panel 7. When this warning light has flashed at least 3 times, release the - button of the cruise control. If you have complied with the previous steps, you have successfully reset the maintenance indicator for your Volvo XC40! Please note that the following guide is equally valid for the following Volvo models: XC60, XC90, S90, S60.
