Disassembly and Battery Replacement for Key Remote

Model: Volvo V70 MK 1 - Years 1996-2000

Take the appropriate screwdriver and unscrew the screw located at the bottom rear. Carefully open the remote into two parts: one contains the battery housing and the other holds the circuit board. To remove the board, simply press the buttons and it will come out of its housing. Now you can remove the plastic buttons from their position. At the back of the remote, you will find the battery housing. To extract it, use a small screwdriver to lever the battery out. This operation was performed on a key remote for a Volvo V70.
