Removing Fuel Pump from Volvo V70

Model: Volvo V70 MK 2 - Years 2000-2007

Let's remove the fuel pump located in the tank of the Volvo V70. To access the fuel pump, remove the rear seat cushions: take out the rear seats of the car. You will find a metal cap to access the tank. Use a socket spanner to undo the securing screws of the metal cap and remove it from its seat. Undo the large securing bolt. Disconnect the power connectors and the fuel return hoses, then undo the plastic nut that secures the fuel pump. Pull the part out from its housing.
