Remove Fuel Float from Volvo V70

Model: Volvo V70 MK 2 - Years 2000-2007

This guide covers the removal of the fuel pump from inside the tank of the Volvo V70. Remove the rear seat bases: locate the cover of the tank at the bottom of the seat. Use a socket spanner to unscrew the securing screws of the metal cap (if present) and remove it from its seat. Disconnect the power connectors and the liquid circulation pipes, then unscrew the large plastic nut. Extract the fuel float pump from its seat along with the associated working parts. After installing the new fuel pump, refit the covers and the seats.
