To reset the service light on a Volvo V70, press and hold the button located on the left side of the instrument cluster while it is off. While continuing to hold this button, insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the on position to power the instrument cluster.

Once powered on, continue holding the button until the light is reset.

After the procedure, you can release the button and turn off the instrument cluster completely.
