The cigarette lighters of the Volvo 460 are increasingly used as power sources for small electronic devices, which exposes them to the possibility of overload and subsequent fuse protection intervention. In the event that we need to replace one, we must remove the upper part of the dashboard in front of the passenger seat, thus gaining access to the fuse panel. We identify the one to be changed by using the applied diagram on the right, and once found, we extract it using the provided tweezers. We install a new 15A fuse and verify the correctness of the operation by inserting a device into the socket. We reassemble the dashboard panel.

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother.
