If the cigarette lighter socket in your Volvo C30 has suddenly stopped working, first check the status of the relevant fuse, the location of which is indicated in this video. As shown, the fuse in question is located in the fuse box inside the cabin, precisely below the passenger glove compartment.

It is a 15A fuse and is the third in the top row when looking at the box from the front. If it is faulty, ensure you use a replacement with equivalent specifications and operate with the vehicle switched off to avoid damaging connected devices.
