How to Check the Fuses on a Volvo VNL

The Volvo VNL is a truck designed for long-haul transport. First, ensure the vehicle is switched on. Use a screwdriver to pry open the top of the dashboard on the passenger side to access the fuse box. Attached to the cover of the fuse box, you will find a diagram indicating the meaning of all the fuses, their numbers, amperage, and explanations of their use and function. Use a test light, which should be connected to a negative ground. Connect one end to the chassis, and with the other end, touch each fuse to check its operation. If the light does not illuminate on one of the fuses, it indicates a problem, and it needs to be replaced. Use pliers to pull it out and replace it.
