In this video we can see how easy it is to change the gear knob on a Volvo C30: first of all, let's get the new knob, which we can find for example on Amazon with the code B0CXXK5DZR at the price of 36.99 euros, with free delivery. Carefully lever off the leather cover of the gear lever gaiter from its frame: this is necessary because then we will have to turn the knob and the leather would twist, risking to ruin it. Now we turn the knob clockwise and at the same time press it down. Now we can lift the knob and the gaiter: reconnect the gaiter to the knob through the inner ring and then put the knob back in place by turning it counterclockwise. Put the gaiter back in its frame and we're done.
