In order to disassemble the engine of the Yamaha R6, you will need to loosen the screws that fix the engine block to its housing, which will be located in the central lower part of the frame: once the fixing screws of the block have been unscrewed, it will be possible to proceed by disconnecting the intake and exhaust cables and manifolds. At this point, you will need to unscrew the screws that fix the cylinder head and thus access the pistons: by disconnecting these from the corresponding connecting rods, it will be possible to proceed by accessing the crankshaft and thus replacing all the components that need to be replaced.
