To replace the air filter on a Yamaha Tracer 900, loosen the bolts securing the fairing located just below the handlebars and above the fuel cap. You will also need to remove the bolts securing the side fairings, the seat, and the fuel tank cover. The air filter box will be located right here: it needs to be disconnected and opened by removing its fastening bolts. Once the box is open, you can replace the air filter and reassemble all the previously removed parts.
