Replacement of the low beam headlight bulb for the Yamaha XMax 400.

If the low beam lamp of the Yamaha XMax 400 headlight is blown, it is advisable to replace it as soon as possible. Place the scooter on the center stand, unscrew the central screw located under the two front headlights to remove the black cover, unscrew the 4mm hex bolt in the center of the headlights and the two upper ones inside the shield under the windshield to detach the upper part of the black cover. Unscrew the side bolt under the windshield, open the right storage compartment and unscrew the upper hex bolt, remove the top plastic cover and unscrew the side screw that we have uncovered. Using the 4mm hex bolt, also unscrew the screw inside the shield, now we can detach the side part of the shield and create some space to remove the rubber protection behind the bulb, remove the connector and release the metal spring that locks the lamp: these operations are made difficult by the tight space. Remove it and replace it with a new H7 bulb, being careful not to touch the bulb with bare fingers. Insert it into its housing and secure it with the clip. Attach the connector and put the rubber protection back on. Reassemble the body parts by following the reverse steps.
