In the unfortunate event that the accelerator gets stuck at the end of its travel, it is best to prevent it in advance before it can cause an accident. The problem encountered is simply due to the plastic stop on the carpet to prevent a hole from forming in it. This plastic disc has a small diameter and a thin edge that allows the pedal to lock and thus keep the engine throttled at full throttle. To solve the problem simply remove the disk by removing it from its seat and install the new improved version. The thickened edge and a larger diameter avoid this serious inconvenience.
