Replacement of the arm of the Alfa Romeo 147

Let's see how to proceed to replace the wishbone of the suspension of the Alfa Romeo 147. We put the car on a lifting platform and raise it so that we can work under the vehicle, unscrew the nuts that hold it in place and remove the wheel. With a pneumatic screwdriver and a 19mm wrench, we unscrew the nuts of the attachment of the wishbone near the disc, with a pin and a hammer we push the bolt to free the hole. With an adjustable wrench and a 19mm ratchet, we unscrew the nut and bolt of the attachment to the center of the chassis, once the bolt is removed we can remove the wishbone and replace it with a new one. We insert the bolts again from both sides and hand tighten the nuts, with a hydraulic lift we remove the load by pivoting under the suspension attachment and finish tightening the two nuts well. We remove the lift, reassemble the wheel and lower the car.
