How do you change the engine oil on an Alfa Romeo 159? It's a simple task if you follow the right steps. First, lift the car using a column lift or jack. After removing the plastic panel under the engine, use a socket spanner to unscrew the bolt from the oil sump. Allow the oil to drain into a disposal container and then refit the bolt on the oil sump. Lower the car to the ground and lift the bonnet, securing it with the prop (if available), and top up with the new oil. Measure the oil level multiple times with the metal dipstick until you reach the ideal measurement.
