To change the gearbox oil on an Alfa Romeo 159, open the drain plug located at the bottom of the car near the gearbox. Once the plug is opened, collect the used oil in a container until it has completely drained. After all the oil has drained out, close the drain plug and refill through the designated filler cap located on the right side of the engine bay. After refilling, lower the car and close the bonnet.
