This video shows the procedure to follow for removing and replacing the steering rack. First, lift the vehicle, as the work needs to be done underneath the engine, where the rack is located.

Here’s how to proceed: First, unscrew the fastening pins of the wishbones from the front wheels. Next, unscrew the pins securing the rack using a hex key with an extension.

Once done, remove the rack from its location, using a lever if necessary, and finally extract it from the vehicle.
