To replace the internal handle on an Alfa Romeo Giulietta, remove the cap located in the handle's housing and loosen the bolt beneath the cap. Next, detach the side cover of the door panel and loosen all the bolts around the window switch. By disconnecting all the connectors, you can completely remove the door panel and access the underlying handle mechanism, which can then be replaced.

After replacement, reattach the panel.
