Lift the bonnet and secure it with the prop rod. Squeeze the sides of the diesel pipe and pull upwards to disconnect it; mark the pipes to remember where they go during reassembly. Using a 10 mm socket, unscrew the bolt holding the diesel filter bracket counterclockwise (continue unscrewing by hand to avoid dropping it into the engine bay). Remove the bracket, lift the filter, and underneath you will find the sensor; gently press with your fingers to disconnect the cable and remove the sensor. Position the new diesel filter and reassemble all parts in reverse order.
