Operation: How to replace the fuel filter on an Alfa Romeo 159.

In this video tutorial, we can see how to replace the diesel filter on an Alfa Romeo 159, following a few simple steps: the first thing to do is to purchase a new diesel filter; the next step is to get into the car, turn off the engine, and engage the handbrake. Lift the engine hood and secure it with a suitable rod. Squeeze the sides of the diesel pipe and pull it upwards to detach it; make marks on the pipes to remember where they need to be inserted during installation. Using a 10 mm ratchet wrench, unscrew the bolt in an anti-clockwise direction that holds the diesel filter in place (continue to unscrew it by hand to prevent it from falling into the engine compartment). Remove the bracket, lift the filter, and underneath we find the sensor; with a slight pressure from the fingers, detach the cable and remove the sensor. Position the new diesel filter and reassemble all the parts in reverse order.

Handbrake adjustment on Ford Ecosport

First remove the plastic profile at the base of the gear lever. To do this, slightly widen the side edges and carefully lift it to release it. There is no need to remove it completely, just move it forward to avoid bother. Now remove the plastic center console around the handbrake by first working from the rear to release it and lifting it until the brake lever passes. Also in this case it is not necessary to remove it completely but, paying attention to the connected cables, it can be stowed in front of the passenger seat. At this point we notice that at the base of the handbrake lever, on the front, we find a nut. By acting on it, with a 10 wrench, we can adjust the brake force, increasing it by turning the nut clockwise, or decreasing it by turning it counterclockwise. Once adjusted, the center console can be repositioned first, pressing lightly to engage it, and then the profile of the gearbox base.
