Quick Installation of Snow Chains

Model: Alfa Romeo 147 MK 1 - Years 2000-2010

Snow is not a problem for mobility; just have good chains and common sense when driving. Let's see how to install them quickly.
Most of the time, you will need to fit the chains on the road while it is snowing, so it is advisable to practice fitting and removing them several times in the garage, so that when the time comes, you can install them easily.
First, especially if this is not your first time using them, free the chains from any knots that may have formed. Once they are untangled as shown in the video, pass them behind the tyre with the rigid blue part parallel to the wheel. Take the two ends, close them at the top, just above the wheel, and push the blue ring that has formed over the wheel.
At this point, attach the chain at the points shown in the video guide, and finally secure the hook connected to the yellow rubber part at the furthest point you can reach.
Drive the vehicle a few metres, detach the hook mentioned above, free the chain from the plastic hooks, and pull it tight. Now, pass it through the hooks again and secure it at the furthest point possible.
