How to Change the Brake Discs on an Alfa Romeo Giulietta

When a sort of lip forms on the edge of the brake disc, it means the disc is worn. A reduction in thickness leads to decreased braking capacity as the disc tends to overheat more quickly. Replacing the discs also requires replacing the corresponding brake pads. Lift the vehicle, remove the wheel, the brake caliper, and its support. Unscrew the disc fastening screw on the hub, clean and grease the hub before installing the new disc, then reassemble the support, new pads, and caliper. During this maintenance, it is a good idea to use so-called grooved and vented discs, as they dissipate heat better and ensure improved braking.
