To replace the gas struts on the Aston Martin DBS bonnet, open the bonnet to access the components in the engine bay. Locate the struts on both sides of the bonnet. Detach each strut one at a time by prying off the clips that secure them to the bonnet and the frame.

Once the struts are removed, insert the new ones, securing them properly with the clips.
