How to reset the "Service" light on an Audi A4?

To reset the "Service" light on an Audi A4, start by turning on the instrument panel without starting the engine. Use the rotary control located on the central tunnel, part of the MMI (Multi Media Interface) system, to navigate the vehicle's settings menu.

Turn the rotary control to highlight the "Car" or "Vehicle" option and press to select it. In the next menu, look for the section dedicated to maintenance or service intervals. Select this option and, using the rotary control, choose "Reset service interval" or a similar option.

Follow the instructions that appear on the screen to confirm the reset. You may be required to turn or press the rotary control to complete the procedure.

Once completed, turn off and on the instrument panel to verify that the "Service" light has been removed. Make sure that the oil change and other maintenance tasks have been performed before resetting.

If the light persists, consult the vehicle manual or contact an authorized workshop.
