How do you clean the airflow meter of an Audi A3?

Model: Audi A3 8V, MK 3 - Years 2012-2019

In this video we see how to clean the airflow sensor of an Audi A3, but the procedure is the same for all cars of the V.A.G. group. We start by removing the air filter, and then we remove the clamp that holds the airflow sensor, which is located just behind it; we disconnect the electrical connector. Now that we have the component in hand, we need to remove the two screws (25 or 27) on the body of the sensor. We open the cover of the sensor, using the tip of a screwdriver, and check the gasket. We clean the contacts inside with a specific sprayer. We will let it dry well, then clean the entire outer part; we will also spray where the sensor rests. We reassemble the device, paying attention to the direction of the flow, and then reattach it to its bracket. We put the air filter back in place and the job is done.
