Replacing Front Suspension Control Arms
Model: Audi A6
MK 2, C5
- Years 1997-2004
To replace the control arms of the suspension, remove the shock absorber, lift the vehicle on a hydraulic lift, and remove the wheel corresponding to the repair area.
Then, unscrew the fastening bolt of the two upper control arm ball joints (if necessary, extract the bolt with a punch, being careful not to damage the threads) and widen the opening of the ball joint housing with a chisel to facilitate the removal of the ball joints themselves. At this point, unscrew the fastening bolt of the shock absorber to the suspension control arm. Next, access the engine compartment, remove the plastic cover located just below the windshield, and locate the fastening bolts of the shock absorber mount: unscrew the bolts, extract the shock absorber from its housing, and place it on a workbench to proceed with the replacement of the control arms. Then, unscrew the fastening bolts of the control arms to the shock absorber mount, remove the old control arms, and install the new ones. Reposition the shock absorber in its housing and proceed in reverse order for reassembly, tightening the bolts appropriately.

How to Remove the Headlight Bulbs on a Toyota Rav4
Let's see how to remove the headlight bulbs on a Toyota Rav4. Open the bonnet by pulling the lever located at the bottom right of the dashboard and secure it. Locate the inspection cap (if present) on the headlight and remove it (located at the rear of the headlight). At this point, you will find the bulbs with metal clips; pull the bulb holders out of the headlight and extract the damaged bulb using a screwdriver and pliers. Fit the new bulb (ensuring it is the correct type and size), insert the bulb holder back into the headlight housing, and close the headlight with the inspection cap. Test the lights to ensure they are functioning correctly. by ScegliAuto More videos
