How to replace the fuel pump on an Audi A4? First, disconnect the battery cables. Then, remove the rear seat cushions (as shown in the video). Use a socket wrench to remove the retaining pins from the metal cover (if present), and take it out of its place. Cover the perimeter with absorbent paper to soak up any fluid leaks. Unscrew the fuel pump clamp, disconnect the power connectors and the fluid circulation hoses. Pull the fuel pump assembly out of the tank along with the attached components.
