How to Use Start/Stop on an Audi A3

Here’s how to deactivate and reactivate the Start/Stop system on an Audi A3. When you are using your vehicle and come to a traffic light or need to stop: press the brake and clutch (put the gear lever in neutral), the car will automatically turn off. When you press the clutch, the engine will restart, put the gear back in and drive off. To deactivate the Start/Stop, simply press the button located on the central dashboard (a warning light will appear on the instrument cluster with a corresponding message). To reactivate Start/Stop, press the activation button again.
