Sometimes the service light on the Audi A4 B6 may not reset, and here are the most common reasons: first, consider the hood release switch. If the light stays on, you need to open and close the hood so the system can recognize that you've added oil. In the video, we see that the micro switch had broken wires, causing the control module to think the hood is always closed. Check by turning on the ignition and opening the hood: if the open hood light doesn’t come on, then there is a problem with the switch. There is a second possibility: the YouTuber discovered that on some control modules, the service signal and the oil level check may be linked, so resetting the service also resets the oil level light memory. Another issue not mentioned in the video could be the sensor itself, located in the oil pan, which may be faulty.

How to Check the Oil Level on a Jeep Renegade?

To check the oil level on a Jeep Renegade, you need to open the bonnet to access the components inside the engine bay: on the lower left side of the engine block, you will find the dipstick for checking the level. This should be pulled out and thoroughly cleaned with a cloth: once cleaned, reinsert it back into its tube and pull it out immediately after.
