How to Replace the Key Fob Battery in an Audi A7

To replace the battery in the key fob of an Audi A7, take the key and locate the release button on the back. Press the button and extract the mechanical key inside. In the slot left open, insert the key itself or a small flat screwdriver and gently pry to open the fob shell. Once opened, locate the battery and remove it. Now insert the new battery with the positive terminal facing the same direction as the previous one. Close the fob by aligning the two halves until they click, reinsert the mechanical key, and check the proper functioning of the lock and unlock buttons.
