How to change the remote key battery of an Audi A6. Let's see in this detailed video how to proceed. Take your remote and press the button to release the metal key. Once extracted, use a screwdriver to pry between the key cover and the battery holder. Pry until the battery holder comes out; replace the worn battery with a new one (same size and voltage). Reassemble the cover with the buttons by pressing on the key remote until you hear the locking click. Insert the metal key back into the remote. Check the proper functioning of the remote.
