Removing the Door Panel on an Audi A4

Model: Audi A4 B8 - Years 2007-2016

Start by disconnecting the battery terminals located in the engine compartment. Use a trim tool to remove the satin aluminum trim at the top of the door. Next, remove the lower cover of the handle (where the buttons are located). Unscrew the screws for the upper door release lever and the other screws in the door panel. Use a trim tool to detach the retaining clips of the panel, then pry it off. Finally, grab the panel with your hands and disengage it from the door. Reassemble everything by reversing the steps taken.
