Audi A2 Thermostat Replacement

Remove the damaged thermostat from an Audi A2. Access it from the engine bay or, if more convenient, from underneath. Remove the bolts from the thermostat hose clamp and (use a socket spanner with the appropriate sockets) pull out the sealing cap from the housing and extract the coolant thermostat. Clean the housing where the thermostat fits. Insert the new part and refit the hose cap. Tighten the bolts securely, and you are done. Ensure that you have correctly inserted and mounted the valve in the appropriate housing. Refill the coolant reservoir located in the engine bay.
