How to remove the rear headlight bulbs on Audi A3

Model: Audi A3 MK 2, 8P - Years 2003-2013
Part: Tail light bulb

Replacement of damaged bulbs mounted in the rear light of an Audi A3, let's take them apart. We open the trunk lid, remove the frame cover cap. Using a screwdriver, unscrew the plastic tightening screw located on the side of the headlight (right). We disconnect the rear light from its housing and disconnect the power supply terminals; we replace damaged bulbs with new ones (size and voltage are the same). We connect the power supply terminals, mount the headlight and screw in the plastic screw. We test the correct functioning of the bulbs mounted on the Audi A3.

First, release the bonnet from the lever and lift it. Access to the belt is easier from the front right wheel, so remove it. Now disconnect the battery cables. Once the wheel is completely removed, you will also need to remove the brake to work from underneath your vehicle. Unscrew the tensioner and the lower pulley cover, allowing you to comfortably extract the new belt in position. Now simply retrace the steps described above to reassemble the various components.
