Fuel Float Repair on Audi TT

Model: Audi Tt MK 2, 8J - Years 2006-2014

To access the fuel pump, remove the rear passenger seat by lifting it from underneath and detaching it from the seat belts. This will allow you to reach the cover for the pump and the float. To access the pump, unscrew the top ring and disconnect the supply and return lines (by unhooking the appropriate clips). Remove the pump and test the connector for the float with a tester. If, as expected, the issue with the float is due to this connector, disconnect it and obtain a new connector identical to the burnt one. Reassemble everything.
