Remove Front Headlights from Audi A6

Model: Audi A6 MK 2, C5 - Years 1997-2004

To replace the front headlight assembly on the Audi A6, stabilize and secure your vehicle (for example, on a lift or securely immobilized) to perform the maintenance operation without risking the operator's safety. At this point, open the hood of the engine compartment and remove, using a suitable wrench, three screws from the upper edge of the headlight and one from the lower part inside the engine compartment (after removing part of the air duct - proceed as shown in the images - that obstructs the operation). Now, you can pull the headlight assembly out of its housing, being careful to disconnect the electrical supply. Remove all the bulbs and install them into the new headlight assembly, and then you can mount the new assembly into its housing. The steps to follow are the same as before, but you need to proceed in reverse.
